Silver obsidian and blue-grey hawks eye, cut larger than a standard strand and strung as a single loop on a heavier elastic core. Both stones are dark with a reflective surface: obsidian returns a sheet of light, hawks eye a narrow band. It is designed as a men’s bracelet but nothing about it is gendered beyond the bead size.

What you receive

  • Stones: Silver obsidian and hawks eye
  • Bracelet type: Single loop, elastic, no clasp
  • Fit: Approx. 16-19 cm (6.3-7.5 in) wrist
  • Hardness: 5 (obsidian) to 7 (hawks eye)

About the two stones

This is a mixed-stone bracelet, so the beads differ in hardness as well as colour. That matters more than it sounds: a quartz bead at 7 will slowly scratch a softer bead at 3.5 if they rub together over months, which is why mixed bracelets are strung with the harder stones spaced rather than clustered.

Fit and sizing

It is a single loop, elastic bracelet on elastic with no clasp, and fits approx. 16-19 cm (6.3-7.5 in) wrist. Because the core is elastic it rolls on over the hand, so there is nothing to fasten one-handed. If you need a specific length, message us before ordering and we will tell you what is in stock.

Care

Treat the bracelet by its softest stone. Wipe with a soft dry cloth rather than soaking it, keep it away from perfume and chlorinated water, and store it flat so the elastic does not stretch.

Shipping and returns

Orders are processed in 1-3 business days from our Shenzhen studio. Standard delivery to the US takes 10-20 business days and costs $8; shipping is free on orders over $70. Express delivery is $15. A tracking number is emailed once the parcel is handed to the carrier. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unworn pieces in their original packaging.

Common questions

Is the metal part silver?

There is no metal in this bracelet. The word silver in silver obsidian describes the colour of the sheen inside the volcanic glass, not a metal content. Nothing here is plated or filled.

What size wrist does it fit?

Roughly 16-19 cm (6.3-7.5 in) on an elastic core, which sits slightly larger than a standard strand. If you are between sizes, message us and we will check the actual length in stock.

Can I wear it in water?

Obsidian and hawks eye both tolerate brief contact with water, but the elastic core and the polish do not. Take it off for swimming, showers and washing up.

About this piece

What exactly is this piece made from?

Natural gemstone. Every piece is inspected by hand before it ships. Treatments that are standard in the trade — heat-treated amethyst sold as citrine is the classic example — are explained in our material & treatment guide.

What should I know before ordering?

Each piece is assembled from natural stone, so colour, pattern and exact dimensions vary slightly from the photographs. The specification table above lists what is measured for this piece.

Can I wear it every day, or in water?

The stone itself is not harmed by a splash, but removing it before showering, swimming, sauna or the gym is the single easiest way to make it last. Chlorine and salt water attack elastic over time, and repeated flexing is what eventually wears any cord out.

How should I care for it?

Roll it on rather than stretching it over your hand, wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing, and keep it away from perfume and chlorine. Store it flat in the pouch provided, out of direct sun. See our crystal care guide.

Crystal meanings described on this page come from tradition, not from medicine. Nothing here is medical advice.
