Real lapis, not dyed

The gold specks in the blue are the real giveaway it's lapis, not dyed. Feels premium. Packaging was a step up from the cheaper ones.

Worth it for the color

Deep blue lapis with little gold flecks, gorgeous. This is the priciest thing I've bought here and it shows, the beads are uniform. Worth it for the color alone.

About this Lapis Lazuli bracelet

What exactly is this bracelet made from?

Natural Lapis Lazuli. Lazurite-bearing rock (Mohs hardness 5-6). Every piece is inspected by hand before it ships. Treatments that are standard in the trade — heat-treated amethyst sold as citrine is the classic example — are explained in our material & treatment guide.

What size are the beads, and how is it strung?

The beads are 8mm. Strung on Premium stretch elastic cord.

Where do the stones come from?

Brazil, India, Madagascar and Inner Mongolia — varies by stone. Stone is bought in batches, so the exact locality can differ from one piece to the next; where a single origin is given in the specification table above, that is the origin for this batch.

Can I wear it every day, or in water?

The stone itself is not harmed by a splash, but removing it before showering, swimming, sauna or the gym is the single easiest way to make it last. Chlorine and salt water attack elastic over time, and repeated flexing is what eventually wears any cord out.

How should I care for it?

Roll it on rather than stretching it over your hand, wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing, and keep it away from perfume and chlorine. Store it flat in the pouch provided, out of direct sun. See our crystal care guide.
