Loose fit or fitted?

As a rule, 6mm beads suit wrists under about 15 cm, 8mm works for most, and 10mm and above look most proportional on wrists of roughly 17 cm and up. There is no rule against breaking this — it is a matter of taste — but a large bead on a very small wrist can feel heavy and spin.
Men's and women's sizing
There is no separate sizing system. Men's and women's bracelets use the same principle: wrist circumference plus allowance. Men's wrists commonly measure 16–19 cm and women's 14–16 cm, so men's bracelets are often listed at 19–21 cm and women's at 16–18 cm. Buy by measurement, not by the label on the category.
Stacking multiple bracelets
- Stack similar bead sizes so the pieces do not grind against each other.
- If you mix a fitted and a loose bracelet, put the fitted one closer to the hand.
- Metal charms can scratch softer stones — separate them, or accept the wear as character.
- Three to five bracelets is usually the point where a stack starts to feel like a mass. Design, do not pile.
