Blue-grey hawks eye — the chatoyant quartz that formed when blue crocidolite fibres were replaced by silica. The moving band of light is a reflection off those parallel fibres. Deep saturated blue tiger’s eye in the trade is usually heat-treated, and each listing says which one it is.
